Locally, we offer a full, end-to-end, range of filtration and dewatering equipment and screening media for various industries including mining and mineral processing; waste water treatment; pulp and paper, food and oil. We also supply architectural meshes that have been used in prominent buildings such as the JDA building in Newtown; Sanral’s HQ and the Stats SA building in Pretoria and the Puma Head office in Cape Town.
We offer services to support our products including installation, maintenance and condition monitoring using our exclusive proprietary software. Our difference lies in continuous improvement that increases value for our clients and building long term relationships through after sales service. We continually strive to lower total-cost-of-ownership through improved manufacturing practices and inputs, and full life cycle product maintenance and management.
OUR HISTORY
We began weaving wire in the German town of Düren, almost one hundred years ago. Founded by Josef Kufferath, GKD has always been owned exclusively by the same family, today in the fourth generation. We are a globally recognised technology leader and sought-after expert when it comes to developing and producing solutions made of technical weave and spirals. Our customers use GKD’s wide range of products in industrial and architectural applications throughout the world.
